Dress to reflect how YOU want others to ‘see’ you
Wednesday, August 3rd, 2011 by Kim BolsoverMy friend, Wilma Allan of Coaching Inside Out, recently asked me to explain, in just 30 minutes, how you can influence other people by presenting you and your business in different ‘clothes’, plus all this:
- How you tell other people all about you by what you’re wearing and how you present yourself – all without saying a word!
- The psychology of colour and how you can communicate authority or approachability literally by changing the colours you wear
- The different style personalities and how you can use them to confidently play the different roles in your life
- How you can set goals by wearing different colours, shapes, fabrics, etc.
- How you can influence other people by presenting you and your business in different ‘clothes’
However (and as usual) I got carried away and Wilma and I started delving into:
- the differences between colour psychology and style personality
- how an image consultant can show you how to dress to reflect how you feel or how to mask how you feel
- choosing colours and styles deliberately to set your intention for the day or occasion
and when I got on my soapbox about who should be taken out and shot for crimes against our adorable clients, Wilma laughed out loud!
And now you can hear the whole cannoli.
So if you can possibly stand it, listen to this interview with my compliments.
Enjoy!
