Vodka & Red Bull Christmas Cake
My 86-year-old Aunt emailed me this recipe, saying that she hasn’t stopped giggling since she read it. Frankly, it had me weeping… Enjoy!
Vodka & Red Bull Christmas Cake
- ONLY try this at home!
Ingredients
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1 cup of caster sugar
- 1 tsp of salt lemon juice
- 4 large eggs nuts
- 1 bottle of vodka
- 1 can of Red Bull
- 2 cups of dried fruit
Method
1. Sample the vodka to check the quality. Take a large bowl, check the vodka again. To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup into the bowl and mix with a little Red Bull, then drink
2. Repeat
3. Turn on the electric mixer, beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar and beat again. At this point it is best to make sure the vodka is still OK. Flavour with Red Bull to taste
4. Try another cup – just in case turn off the mixerer. Break two leggs in the bowel and chuck in the cup of fried druid. Pick cup up off floor
5. Mix on the turner. If the fried druid gets stuck in the beaterers, pry it loose with a drewscriver
6. Shample the kovda to check it’s tonsisticitty, flavour with a little Bed Rull
7. Sifft two cups of salt. Or something. Who cares. Throw a pinch of Rud Bell over your shlouder, pick up the can and mop the floor
8. Deck the Chavko. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table
9. Add one boon of sown buggar, bix in the saking moda and the eggs. I think
10. Turn the cake in a 360 degree tin and try not to fall over. Don’t forget to beat off the turner
11. Throw the bowl through the window, finish the vodka and kick the cat
12. Go to bed. Cherry Mirstmas !
